Project Description: American Solar Partners

American Solar Partners is an established solar power installation company based in Westchester County. ASP has many years of experience installing residential and commercial solar electric arrays across the Northeast, preferentially sourcing American-made solar components and using union labor. ASP’s old site was a static, custom PHP implementation deployed on an Amazon Web Services EC2 instance with no content management back-end. The client wanted to modernize the site’s design, make it mobile responsive, and add a content management system. WordPress was a logical choice given the client’s needs. The client wanted to balance a modern look without having the site appear ‘too corporate’ as this was believed to be a potentially detrimental to the user experience of their target customer demographic.
