Project Description: JobFly

JobFly is Lei’s final project for General Assembly’s Back-End Web Development class. The purpose of the application is to help users better organize their next job hunt. In its current iteration, JobFly utilizes Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL in its back-end, and Twitter Bootstrap 3 for the front-end. It integrates Indeed‘s API to allow users to search for jobs they want to save and apply to. Once saved, the user can take as many notes as they want about the job, set due dates on items, and etc. The application is not complete, as Lei plans to fully implemented the Devise gem, and build a custom pagination feature for Indeed’s API, which currently does not offer this option.
